Quake is ideal for those looking for unique attractions, for organized group visits, moments of relaxation as a team, or even to celebrate a birthday.

Each slot accommodates up to 20 people – groups larger than 20 will be divided into consecutive slots;

The visit lasts a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes (it cannot be shortened);

The contents are available in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French (texts and audios).

Monday and Wednesday – 10:20/10:40, 11:50/12:20, 14:00/14:30, 17:00/17:10, and 17:40/17:50

The pricing is dynamic and varies based on the day of the week, time of year, and booking lead time.

Celebrate your child’s birthday at Quake with a visit to the Museum + Lunch Box and shake things up for your guests. After the visit, gather the group at our coffee shop to sing "Happy Birthday" to the birthday child. 

- Minimum age: 6 years-old – the earthquake simulator, an integral part of the visit, as well as other elements, require a certain level of emotional maturity;

- 10-15 children/teens – 1 accompanying adult is required;

- 16-22 children/teens – 2 accompanying adults are required.

The Lunch Box includes mixed brioche sandwich + juice + fruit + surprise. If you wish, you can also bring the birthday cake so everyone can sing "Happy Birthday" together! Offer the Lunch Box to all the guests, and we will offer the birthday child’s ticket + lunch box. 

- Weekends and Holidays: from €18.5/person 

- If you only wish to bring the cake to the "Happy Birthday" moment: €2/person 

Except for the birthday cake, it is not allowed to consume food or drinks other than those provided by our coffee shop. Maximum of 40 minutes stay after the end of the visit.

Quake - Lisbon Earthquake Museum is located near to Avenida da Índia, in the historic area of Belém. The best way to get to Quake is by public transport - bus, train or tram, which connect the area to many points in the city of Lisbon and the other side of the river (information below). Bicycle, scooter, or even car, can also be good alternatives, but remember that parking in this area is scarce.

Quake is located next to Museu Nacional dos Coches, MAAT and Central Tejo. It is also 10 minutes away from Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, Centro Cultural de Belém and Padrão dos Descobrimentos, and about 20 minutes away from Torre de Belém.

Absolutely brilliant. Really immersive experience. Fantastic experience. Not like a tradional museum at all. Family loved it. We’ve been to a lot of museums, this one rates as one of the best of all. Go!

All of your senses are stimulated, from amazing sound quality, brilliant video reels, smells and even heat from the burning buildings. It’s great for all ages and we would highly recommend a visit.

Excellent story telling, very informative, very well designed and organised. My 10 year olds loved it and have been pondering over the question posed throughout the experience: “what would you do?”
