If you're looking for a different activity to do with your group of friends, colleagues or clients, Quake offers a unique experience, scoring 8.5 on the thrill scale.

Quake is ideal for those looking for unique attractions, for organized group visits, moments of relaxation as a team, or even to celebrate a birthday.

- Each slot accommodates up to 20 people – groups larger than 20 will be divided into consecutive slots;

- The visit lasts a total of 1 hour and 40 minutes (it cannot be shortened);

- The contents are available in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French (texts and audios).

- Monday to Friday – 10:10/10:30, 11:50/12:20, 17:00/17:10, and 17:50/18:00 

- Weekends and Holidays – 10:10/10:20 and 17:50/18:00 

- Other slots to be confirmed, depending on availability 

The pricing is dynamic and varies based on the day of the week, time of year, and booking lead time. 

Celebrate your child’s birthday at Quake with a visit to the Museum + Lunch Box and shake things up for your guests. After the visit, gather the group at our coffee shop to sing "Happy Birthday" to the birthday child. 

- Minimum age: 6 years-old – the earthquake simulator, an integral part of the visit, as well as other elements, require a certain level of emotional maturity;

- 10-15 children/teens – 1 accompanying adult is required;

- 16-22 children/teens – 2 accompanying adults are required.

The Lunch Box includes mixed brioche sandwich + juice + fruit + surprise. If you wish, you can also bring the birthday cake so everyone can sing "Happy Birthday" together! Offer the Lunch Box to all the guests, and we will offer the birthday child’s ticket + lunch box. 

- Weekends and Holidays: from €18.5/person 

- If you only wish to bring the cake to the "Happy Birthday" moment: €2/person 

Except for the birthday cake, it is not allowed to consume food or drinks other than those provided by our coffee shop. Maximum of 40 minutes stay after the end of the visit. 

BIRTHDAYS

If you are looking to plan a teambuilding moment, to reward your employees/clients, or simply looking for a different moment of leisure and socializing, you can do so at Quake. 

Combining your visit to Quake with these activities is the ideal solution for those looking to enhance their experience in a more complete and enriching way. 

- A teambuilding activity, with dynamics during and after the visit, aimed at preparing your team for an emergency situation;

- Price: €32 (VAT included) per group of 20 people;

- Includes 1 survival kit per group (dry bag + 5 items);

- Additional survival items can also be added, at an additional cost.

- A briefing session on personal preparation measures;

- This training aims to equip participants with basic knowledge that will allow them to act with first response measures and ensure the evacuation of building occupants to safe locations;

After learning about the tsunami that destroyed the city in 1755, take a tour along the Tagus River and see Lisbon from a different perspective. 

An exclusive package that includes two of the best experiences in Lisbon to learn about its history and enjoy a unique view of the city. 

- Includes: Quake visit + boat tour on the Tagus River;

After learning about the history of the Great Earthquake, visit post-earthquake Lisbon: discover the history, monuments, traditional streets, and the best viewpoints.

Quake - Lisbon Earthquake Museum is located near to Avenida da Índia, in the historic area of Belém. The best way to get to Quake is by public transport - bus, train or tram, which connect the area to many points in the city of Lisbon and the other side of the river (information below). Bicycle, scooter, or even car, can also be good alternatives, but remember that parking in this area is scarce.

Quake is located next to Museu Nacional dos Coches, MAAT and Central Tejo. It is also 10 minutes away from Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, Centro Cultural de Belém and Padrão dos Descobrimentos, and about 20 minutes away from Torre de Belém.

Absolutely brilliant. Really immersive experience. Fantastic experience. Not like a tradional museum at all. Family loved it. We’ve been to a lot of museums, this one rates as one of the best of all. Go!

All of your senses are stimulated, from amazing sound quality, brilliant video reels, smells and even heat from the burning buildings. It’s great for all ages and we would highly recommend a visit.

Excellent story telling, very informative, very well designed and organised. My 10 year olds loved it and have been pondering over the question posed throughout the experience: “what would you do?”
